These were really fun to make and are even cuter to look at.
1. I bought the skewers at my grocery store. I made cookies and creme mini cupcakes and vanilla buttercream. When making mini cupcakes, bake them for approximately half of the amount of time of standard size cupcakes. I used my Wilton # 21 star tip.
2. I didn't make the rice krispies. I cheated~ YES, I cheat. I bought the generic, pre-packaged, rice krispies treats and cut them into fourths. I then proceeded to smash sprinkles onto them. I literally had to press the sprinkles onto them because the krispie treats are not all that sticky.
3. I carefully cut strawberry and chocolate wafer cookies into fourths or fifths. I can't remember now. Just cut them to the size of the other treats. I carefully made a hole in each wafer by twisting a skewer slowly through each cookie. If you try to press the skewer directly through the wafers they will break.
4. Carefully and slowly thread the treats onto the skewers! All of your friends will ooh and ah over your kabobs.
